The deadline has been extended to Friday, July 15th, 2022.
Up to twenty winners will be announced by Friday, July 22. Winning artwork will be presented on July 30th at Valdez Perry Library. Winners will split $5000 in cash prizes awarded across all ages, ranging from $100, $250 and $500 for individual cash prizes. Winning artwork will be published in an upcoming neighborhood plan organized around the collective vision of our neighbors. QUESTIONS? Leave a message or text 720-282-9343.

Artists must live in 80216 or 80205 zip codes,

Prizes will be awarded for artists in six age groupings: up to age 7, ages 8-12, ages 13-15, ages 16-18, ages 19-24, and 25+

Themes can be addressed through any artistic medium and original artwork (photography, video, music, audio, poetry, spoken word, short narratives, drawing, painting, sculpture, more)

Fill out the application on your left. Please title your artwork, describe your artwork, and select which file type you will upload (photo, video, audio, text), and send your artwork by email.

Only one (1) work of art will be accepted from each individual artist. If an artist submits more than one piece, the first piece submitted will be considered.

Artists attest that the artwork that they submit is their own work and considered original artwork. Winning artwork can be used by GES Coalition for neighborhood campaigns in perpetuity.
